George Radanovich
A native of California, George Radanovich planted the first vineyard and opened the first winery in Mariposa County since Prohibition. In 1994, he was elected to the United States Congress with the largest margin of victory over an incumbent that year. As the first winemaker to serve in Congress since Thomas Jefferson, he led the California delegation on water, guest worker, energy, telecommunications and international trade issues.
During his sixteen-year tenure as a conservative Congressman, Radanovich witnessed the steady erosion of America's social institutions, the repeated failure of top-down Beltway initiatives and the relentless growth of national debt regardless of which party held power.
In 2010, following the death of his wife Ethie, he returned home to Mariposa to raise his son, King. There he published The New World Order is the Old World Order, highlighting the Cultural Mandate in Genesis as a guiding North Star for free nations.
Radanovich discovered that the Mandate provides the "software" our Constitutional "hardware" desperately needs. A pivotal friendship with a severely wounded war veteran. who overcame his own hight ACE score and saved countless fellow veterans from suicide, revealed that childhood trauma is the "thing behind the thing" driving so many national challenges, from PTSD to cultural breakdown.
Today as a keynote speaker, author and founder of the National ACE Campaign, Radanovich bridges politics and culture by calling on Americans to heal deep-rooted ACE trauma through biblical restoration and constitutional vision. His life work is to help fulfill the Cultural Mandate, finish what the Founders started and restore hope, purpose and strength to the nation.
A native son of Mariposa, he finds renewal hiking Yosemite National Park and the High Sierra.
