The Mandate Way

Moving From External Liberty to Internal Liberation Follow the Liberty Line Coined by historian Larry Gara to describe the grassroots paths to freedom carved out by the Underground Railroad, the "liberty line" represents the frontier separating human autonomy from oppression. Across history, this line has steadily marched forward, dismantling external tyrannies one milestone at a time. Two millennia ago, the line fought the absolute power of empires. What if every politician in America—from local city councils to the halls of Congress—was persuaded to pin a simple red, white, and blue button to their lapel? It looks like a standard campaign pin, but the words emblazoned across it subvert everything we expect from Washington: "I can't, but ACE can." Imagine the initial confusion. Reporters would crowd around microphones demanding to know what new Super PAC or political savior "ACE" was. Cynics would look for the catch. But

You hear it at kitchen tables, see it in comment sections, and feel it when parents discuss their children’s futures. Despite the background noise of modern life, a quiet conviction remains: America is meant for something greater. We do not aspire merely to be richer, louder, or more dominant in
